Fix iTunes could not connect to this iPhone because an unknown error occurred (0xE8000001).

The problem is with the ipod photo cache. Try the following steps to fix the problem.

* Go to home folder in finder.

* Open pictures folder.

* right click on iphoto library and click on show package contents.

* Find "ipod photo cache" file and drag to desktop.

* Close finder.

* Reopen itunes and sync ipad

* The ipod photo cache rebuilds itself.
